è una canzone pacata e bellissima, divenuta ben presto un classico dei Nirvana.
Particolarmente bella è la conclusione, data dalla ripetizione ad oltranza del
verso "I think I'm Dumb", durante la quale si crea un'atmosfera leggera data
dalla sovrapposizione di voce principale e controcanto. Il brano è
incentrato su tematiche collegate al mondo degli stupefacenti. Una
registrazione in studio è disponibile su In Utero e sul CD Nirvana.
Dumb è stata eseguita anche in occasione dell'MTV Unplugged In New
York. Nell'esecuzione, come in molte altre occasioni dal vivo, i Nirvana sono stati accompagnati da un violoncello.
